The history of Kiev's fountains dates back more than 100 years. In 1899, there were six fountains based on Parisian designs standing in Kiev's streets, parks and squares. One of those fountains still remains today near Zoloty Vorota. Pantagruel Tavern sponsored its restoration in the summer of 1997, so now there is a place in Kiev where you will always be able to escape the city's hustle and bustle while enjoying a perfect meal! |
