| 30.06.2011 Wine festival of Abruzzo from Zaccagnini (July 1 – 10) |
When we speak of wine from Abruzzo, we typically discuss either Trebbiano or Montepulciano, don’t we? Well, the new festival will probably widen up that space, because we will also serve an autochthonous Pecorino (yes, the wine – not the cheese) and a particular clone of Cabernet. All – from the local producer Cantina Zaccagnini.

Within the festival you may familiarise yourself with two white blends based on autochthonous Trebbiano d’Abruzzo and three versions of the local red star – Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. And after all of them you will be awaited by dessert wine made from botrytized grapes of Trebbiano and Sauvignon Blanc…
And please, don’t let the special menu from Costantino pass by being unnoticed. There are a number of interesting dishes there. Just to name a few: gnocco fritto from Parmigiano; ravioli stuffed with squash and amaretti; spicy risotto with baby octopus; red snapper sautéed with pomodoro stracotto sauce…
